Fordham mourns the passing of Anne Massey Gargan, Ed.D., whose career as a teacher, school principal, Assistant Superintendent, and Fordham faculty member is an inspiration to our community. Anne held master’s degrees from New York University and Manhattan College and earned her doctorate at Fordham in Administration and Supervision.
Upon retiring from Fordham, Anne became an educational consultant and continued to bring her passions of educational excellence, staff leadership and literacy to districts in New York City and Westchester.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 6th, from 11am-12:45pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, Inc., 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle with a Memorial Mass to follow at 1pm at Holy Name Church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The New Rochelle Humane Society at 70 Portman Rd, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
