This fall, the GSE’s state-funded New York City Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network (RBE-RN) partnered with College Goal New York to offer a second annual series of four college financial aid form workshops. Eva Garcia, executive director of RBE-RN, helped identify volunteers who sat down with families, helping them pore over the complex forms and eliminate hurdles to applying to college or completing it once they’ve started.
