The Society for Research in Childhood Development (SRCD) is seeking applicants for SRCD Policy Fellowships for 2017-2018. The Congressional or Executive Branch fellowships provide researchers with exciting opportunities in Washington, D.C. to use their research skills in child development and inform public policy.
Fellows work as resident scholars with congressional or federal agency offices. Fellowships are full-time immersion experiences and run from September 1 st , 2017 through August 31 st , 2018. The SRCD Office for Policy and Communication in Washington, D.C. facilitates the fellowship experience and is available as a resource throughout the year.
Applicants must have a doctoral-level degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Ph.D., M.D., Ed.D.), must demonstrate exceptional competence in the area of child development research, and must be a member of SRCD. Both early-career and advanced professionals are encouraged to apply. Apply now.
