GSE Provides Accelerated Master’s in Teaching, 5-Year Track Program as Next Step for Fordham Undergraduates

0
Currently, there is great demand for top quality candidates in the teaching profession. To meet demand and accelerate the process of obtaining a teaching degree, Fordham Graduate School of Education has made some important changes and updates to our 5-Year Teaching Track. First and foremost, the name has been changed to the Accelerated Master’s in Teaching Program. We have both a new name and a new look to enhance outreach to our Fordham undergraduates and other potential candidates.

Broad-based efforts highlight all the benefits of this program. The bulletin, website and GSE admissions pages reflect our new name, QR code and link to a declaration of interest form. Undergraduate deans, advisors, undergraduate admissions, and career services have partnered with us to inform students about this exceptional opportunity. We are also successfully reaching students on campus through our recruitment table, ads on the Ram Van, and freshmen information sessions.

We welcome you to learn more about the accelerated master’s in teaching program and to hear what teachers who have completed this program and obtained teacher certification are saying.
