Seven extremely selective American Psychological Association-approved sites have offered internships to the students from Fordham Graduate School of Education’s counseling psychology Ph.D. program, yielding a 100% match rate this year. Despite entering an extremely competitive internship market, GSE students excelled and were placed at some of the top training sites in the country.
Counseling psychology director of training Jennie Park-Taylor, Ph.D., stated, “We strongly believe that our emphasis on multicultural competence and social justice, within a rigorous scientist-practitioner model of training, has prepared our students for the next step in their clinical training as psychologists-in-training. We couldn’t be more delighted for them and their success.”
